CAT is a computer-based test (CBT). Candidates answer questions on a computer at the test centre instead of using pen and paper.
No. Candidates are provided with a scribble pad at the exam centre. Calculators are not allowed; however, an on-screen calculator is available during the exam.
Yes. There is a negative marking of 1 mark for incorrect MCQ answers. There is no negative marking for non-MCQ (TITA) questions.
Inform the invigilator immediately. The technical team will assist and shift you to another system if required. The exam timer will be paused during the process so you will not lose time.
Candidates who have completed or are in the final year of their bachelor's degree with the required percentage can apply for CAT. Eligibility may vary slightly depending on institute requirements.
