The SSC CGL exam time duration is 60 minutes for Tier 1. For Tier 2, 2 hours 30 minutes is given for Paper 1. However, for Paper 2 and 3, 2 hours is given

SSC CGL Tier 1 has 1 paper which will be divided in 4 sections of General Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and English Comprehension. Tier 1 is qualifying in nature.

SSC CGL Tier 1 and Tier 2 is MCQ based except English and Hindi Module in Section -II of Paper-I.

SSC CGL 2026 Tier 1 is qualifying in nature. Tier 2 is scoring in nature. Whatever marks you obtain in SSC CGL Tier 2 will be considered while making the final selection list for CGL.
