RRB Group D refers to recruitment conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) for Level-1 posts in Indian Railways such as Track Maintainer, Helper, Assistant Pointsman, and other technical and non-technical roles.

The Railway Recruitment Board functions under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India and conducts nationwide competitive examinations to recruit eligible candidates for various railway zones across the country. The RRB Group D selection process generally includes a Computer-Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification, and Medical Examination.

The RRB Group D is a government-owned and government-funded organization that is responsible to conducts exams every year to recruit eligible candidates for Group-B and Group-C posts in several Organisations /departments/Ministers of the Government of India.
