RRB RPF stands for Railway Recruitment Board – Railway Protection Force. The RPF is a security force under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, responsible for the protection of railway property and passengers.

Recruitment for RPF posts such as Constable and Sub-Inspector (SI) is conducted through the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) by conducting nationwide competitive examinations. The selection process generally includes a Computer-Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Measurement Test (PMT), and Document Verification.

The Railway Protection Force (RPF) is a government-owned and government-funded security organisation under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India. It is responsible for protecting railway passengers, passenger areas, and railway property across the country. The recruitment for RPF posts such as Constable and Sub-Inspector (SI) is conducted through the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) via a transparent and competitive selection process.

The RPF selection process includes Computer-Based Test (CBT) → Physical Efficiency Test (PET) → Physical Measurement Test (PMT) → Document Verification. PET and PMT are qualifying in nature, and the final merit list is prepared based on CBT performance and eligibility.

Yes. 1/3 mark is deducted for each incorrect answer in the Computer-Based Test (CBT).

For RPF Constable, the exam level is generally Class 10 standard. For RPF Sub-Inspector (SI), the difficulty level is graduate level, especially in arithmetic and reasoning.

RPF Constable: Minimum qualification is 10th pass.
RPF SI: Requires a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
The typical age limit is 18–28 years, with relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.
